On the Military Officials of Shu Sending by Emperor In Early Shaoxing Period of the Southern Song Dynasty

In early Shaoxing period of the Southern Song dynasty,the Emperor has sent XI Yi,HU Shi-jiang,ZHENG Gang-zhong as Xuanfushi and Zhizhishi to Sichuan. In their terms of office,they solved many government problems which intensified the control of the court over Sichuan. However,as time passed by,they all got involved in conflicts with both the court and local military officials which finally caused their tragic endings. With them as samples,a keen insight of relationship between local and central government in early Southern Song dynasty can be gained.
