Protecting the Interests of China in Africa:Enlightenment from the AFRICOM's Plight

U.S. Africa Command is a product of the changes of U.S.global strategy,which has a responsibility to reshape American policy to Africa.It serves the security,energy and foreign policy of United States.The environment for the survival of Africa Command is the U.S.government and American military's plagued problem.The value of existence of American people,many African countries and international community's concerns pose a major challenge of AFRICOM.Considering the common interests of China and the U.S.in Africa,it is possible for China to obtain some experiences from the U.S.Respecting the interests and needs of African countries and considering carefully the military presence in Africa is important to consolidate and reinforce Sino-African relations.To protect the interests of China in Africa,China should deepening the understanding of African countries and drawing lessons from Western countries.
