Investigation of Wild Ornamental Plants in Longxi-Hongkou National Nature Reserve

The Longxi-Hongkou National Nature Reserve has plenty of plant diversity,and holds a number of wild ornamental plants.In this paper,a description is given of the main vegetation types of the Reserve,and the common species of ornamental plants is listed and classified on the basis of habitats.In addition,the combination of these plants with different habitats is campared.It is suggested that more local wild ornamental plants should be used in local parklands,which may result in attractive regional landscape.Endemic wild ornamental plants have great potential for the introduction and utilization of landscape plants.
