Abstract

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the killing effects of EPI,HCPT and DDP on human bladder cancer cell lines.METHODS The MTT method and median-effect principle were used.RESULTS Killing effects of drugs were enhanced as drug concentration increased while they were used alone.EPI was synergetic with HCPT or DDP at low concentration(CI1)and of antagonist with HCPT or DDP at high concentration(CI1).HCPT was synergetic with DDP at appropriate concentration. The ratios of drug concentration and the sequence of administration were related with the killing effects. The adhesive power of tumor cells was reduced while they were use alone or in combination.CONCLUSION The interaction of the three cytotoxic drugs was synergetic or antagonistic. The ratios of drug concentration and the sequence of administration were related with their cytotoxic effects. The invasion of T24 cells was reduced in different degree when three drugs were used alone or in combination.
