Abstract

Cementum regeneration plays an important role in periodontal tissue regeneration. This paper reviewed the scholarly cementoblast cell researches, explained the source and function of cementoblasts, the influence of bone morphogenetic protein, enamel matrix derivative, cementum protein-1,and dentin non-collagen protein on cementoblasts cell proliferation, differentiation and mineralization.
