Clinical analysis of mental state and sleep quality of patients with chronic pain

Abstract

Objective:To observe the mental state and sleep quality of the patients with chronic pain.Methods:Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA) were used to evaluate the selected patients with chronic pain,the data were analyzed by t Test.Results:Between the patients with chronic pain and the normal people,there were significant differences in HAMD,HAMA and PSQI(P0.05).There were significant difference in HAMD,HAMA and PSQI before and after treatment(P0.05).Conclusion:The long-term chronic pain not only brings patients physical discomfort,but also affecting the mental state of the patients,leading to anxiety and depression,and affecting the quality of sleep.Therefore,chronic pain caused by various causes should be actively and effectively treated by specialist.
