Abstract

Objective:To establish HPLC method for simultaneous determination of three marker components in different Shuang-huang-lian preparations. Methods:HPLC assay was carried out using a Amethyst C18-P column. The mobile phase was consisted acetonitrile-4% phosphoric acid. The flow rate was 1.0 ml·min-1.The wavelength was set at 230 nm.The column temperature was 30 ℃. Results:The calibration curves were linear over the concentration range of 7.52~150.40 μg·min-1 for chlorogenic acid,4.98~99.60 μg·min-1 for forsythin, and 0.76~15.20 μg·min-1 for baicalin, respective. The correlation co-efficiencies of all curves were better than 0.9988.The average recoveries of three components were 96.75%(RSD=1.28%),99.58%(RSD=1.60%),104.48%(RSD=2.96%),respectively. Conclusion:The developed HPLC method may be used for the quality control of Shuanghuanglian preparations.
