Abstract
Based on the historical views,this paper focuses on the problem of the translator's subjectivity in literary translation in an attempt to reveal the important role of the translator and deepen the study on translator's subjectivity.First,it makes a review of the study on the translator's role,and identifies the existence of translator's subjectivity.Second,it introduces the connotations of literary translation and the translator's subjectivity.Then it makes an analysis of the reasons for the marginalized status of the translator.Finally,a discussion on the display of the translator's subjectivity and limitations on it is made.
