Investigation and thinking of seismic damage of personal housing in wenchuan earthquake zone

Abstract
Based on the investigation of seismic damage of the masonry-structured civilian buildings in 5.12 earthquake in Wenchuan County and the surrounding areas,this article is to summarize the performance of its damage,and to analyse some preliminary causes.It is going to analysize some lessons learned for earthquake disaster,and make proposals according to the response for the earthquake-stricken area.It also provides references for seismic design and seismic reinforcement.
