The paper recorded 35 species of butterflies collected in Gansu province;they belong to 28 genera 7 families.Among them 13 species of Satyridae,9 species of Nymphalidae,7 specie of Lycaenidae,2 species of Papilion-idae and Pieridae respectively,1 specie of Riodinidae and Hesperidae respectively.
