On the Problems of Secondary Vocational Teacher Training and the Countermeasures

Since 2006,the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance have launched the programs to improve secondary vocational school teachers' quality by offering both national and provincial teacher training for secondary vocational school teachers,which have given a powerful boost to our vocational teachers' overall qualities.However,there are also some problems in the training,such as lack of curriculum development and pertinence,no substantive links between training bases and vocational schools,lack of enthusiasm of the teachers and so on.Thus,a three-dimensional system of vocational teacher training and a scientific dynamic adjustment training mechanism should be established to improve the vocational teacher training system.Only in this way can the teacher training be developed more profoundly,properly and sustainably.
