The clinical significance of serum interleukin-17 and interleukin-22 in diagnosis and treat of Hepatitis B

Abstract

Objective:To investigate clinical effects of IL-17 and IL-22 in serum of patients infected HBV.Methods: Levels of IL-17,IL-22 were investigated in 172 patients with viral hepatitis B before and after treatment,the correlation between IL-17,IL-22 and HA,LN,ⅣC,total bilirubin and γ-glutamyltranspetidase were also analyzed.Results: Levels of IL-17 and IL-22 were promoted significantly in various liver dieases compared with healthy control(P0.01).Furthermore,IL-17 and IL-22 increased with the aggravation of hepatic lesion(P0.01).And a significant positive correlation between the levels of IL-17/IL-22 and HA,LN,Ⅳ C was observed,respectively.The same results were seen between IL-22 and TBIL,γ-GT,respectively.The post-treatment levels of IL-17 and IL-22 decreased significantly compared with pre-treatment(P0.05).Conclusion: The investigation of IL-17,IL-22 and related markers such as HA,LN,ⅣC,TBIL and γ-GT will provide important reference value in clinical diagnosis,analysis and therapy of HB.
