Abstract
A low-power,low-dropout voltage regulator is introduced. The regulator is mainly composed of reference voltage source, error amplifier, current protection circuit, output regulator and sampling resistor. When the input voltage changes from 4V to 10V,the output voltage maintains 4V.When the input voltage is 5V,the static current is 2.3μA,so the regulator obtains low-power.When the load is 40Ω and 20Ω,the minimum voltage difference is 80mV and 180mV respectively, the regulator obtains low dropout voltage. The regulator circuit is simulated with Hspice software. The results show the regulator has good performance. The integrated regulator will be processed with CMOS Poly Gate and P well 0.5μm process, and the regulator has high practical value.
