Abstract
Based on heat balance of practical magnesium production by silicon thermal reduction,the utilization of energy in productive process of calcined dolomite and deoxidation under vacuum environment are analyzed to estimate the energy efficiency.The practical energy consumption and theoretical energy consumption are calculated to analyze the direction of energy-saving as well as emission reduction,the energy reduction of exhaust gas;energy emission and the recycle of slag are involved.As a result,some measures are suggested.
