Abstract
The course content and teachingmethod reform of modern control theory is studied based on the experiences of teaching. Firstly,based on the combination of the engineering background,academic background knowledge,prerequisite courses and the practical situation of students,teaching content optimization methods are proposed. Then,in view of strengthening the experimental teaching,integration of science research into teaching,emphasis of the interaction between teachers and students and enhancing the combination of teaching and competition,teaching method reform measures are presented. The above reform methods and measures present a fundamental foundation for improving the teaching quality. Practical application shows that the proposed course teaching content and teaching method reform has achieved good resultsin the teaching of undergraduate course.
