Wordsworth is a poet and poetic theorist as well as a Christian. His life philosophy contains three levels. As a poet,he realizes that technical civilization and rational philosophy have their limitations and that the perfection of human life also needs positive emotions, which can be reflected from the Nature. As a poetic theorist,he thinks the complete form of life lies in the combination of the visible material world and invisible life consciousness. As a Christian,he points out that the ultimate aim of life is to purify one’s soul to gain God's salvation.
