Abstract

Experimental analysis is made on the quality of injected water and its scaling samples in Shanghe Oilfield. A prediction model for 5 types of scales is established by using solubility product and theory of dissociation equilibrium constant. The scaling tendency of incoming water in Sijing Water Treatment Station is predicted by using a self-created scaling prediction software. The level of formation damage induced by injected water scaling in the oilfield is evaluated with core displacement test. The test result demonstrates that scaling tendency is serious in injected water , of which CaCO 3 is at the first place, certain formation damage exists in Shanghe Oilfield.
