Abstract
Based on the bending modes generated in the plane of the vibrator, a novel piezoelectric vibrator of the ring type, which used for conveying millimeter size solid objects, is presented. The nonsymmetrical structure of ring type vibrator is manufactured, which possesses wide conveying surface. The vibration modes and performance of the conveying prototype are experimentally studied.
