Abstract

Allegorical writing is a very important tactic in Hawthorne's symbolic writing.Hawthorne's short story Young Goodman Brown is such an allegorical story,which combines profound theme with special writing tactic,showing the writer's dialectical reflections on human nature and human predicament.
