On Dai Wangshu' poetic art

Abstract
Dai Wangshu was the prominent figure of Modernism School of Chinese poetry circle in 1930s. He perfectly combined the poetic art of European symbolism with the artistic spirit of Chinese classical poetry. He advocated creating poems with emotional rhythm in concealing and revealing and describing the ingenious nature in man's spiritual state. His poetic art corrected various unhealthy tendencies in the new poetry circle and paved a way for the nationalization of Chinese modern literature.
