Abstract

This article was an investigation of one year old Poplar clone.Y208,Y328,NL351,MA)young trees.The indexes of growth,biomass and the wood properties of timber basic density,cellulose content,C content,caloric values,and ash content were determined in 4 poplar plantations used as energy.The results showed that the S curves of “slow-fast-slow” for 4 clones were observed during one year growth period.The content of cellulose,carbon,and the caloric value of clone Y208 were higher than the other three clones (Y328,NL351,MA).
