Abstract

The technology of direction finding by spatial spectrum estimation is very effective to goal signals. Its outstanding performance in direction finding is valued highly by the theory and the engineering, therefore many unique algorithms have appeared,it is analysed to the the Multiple Signal Classification algorithm and Maximum Likelihood allgorithm and Estimation of Signal Parameters via Rotational Invariance Techniques in the paper.Firstly,it is introduced to the basal theory of spatial spectrum estimation, then it is constructed to the antenna array model of uniform line-array and it is detailed analysed to the three kinds of direction finding algorithm and its flow.At last, the emulation of direction finding is operated from different SNR,fast-sampling points and array unit number,it is showed by simulated conclusion that MUSIC and ML algorithm are superior to ESPRIT algorithm at precision of direction finding, the direction finding performance of the three kinds of algorithm are all improved as the increasing of SNR,fast-sampling points and array unit number.
