Abstract
The model of U-ESPRIT algorithm which is based on ESPRIT is analyzed.It has the advantages of high precision and less computation,and it can estimate several incoherent space signals and is suitable for high speed direction finding.The U-ESPRIT algorithm duplicates the acquired data by utilizing the complex conjugate part,furthermore it turns the covariance matrix of the array signal from a complex matrix into a real one,and the calculation is diminished.The engineering implementation is presented and the testing results show that the U-ESPRIT algorithm has a high precision in direction finding and is easy to implement.
