Abstract
This article analyses the features and developing trend of the consumption structure of Shandong rural residents by utilizing the expanded linear expenditure system model.The results show that food and clothing are still the primary needs,and meanwhile,transportation and medical care will become the hotspots of rural consumption in the future.Therefore,in order to achieve the optimization of the consumption structure,the channels to increase rural residents' income should be expanded.And we should keep trace of the hotspots of rural consumption in order to stimulate it.
