Abstract

This paper introduces the concept,procedures and methods for 3D parametric design,using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and Pro/Toolkit to carry out secondary development based on Pro/E development platform.Designing the indenter of 150t packing machine based on the method and an idea of parametric design,this approach shortened the design periods,improved design efficiency and the quality as well as provide a great convenience for design personnel.
