Abstract
The casing of centrifugal pump in the design process,because it has many diverse curved surfaces,especially its diffuser which transits from trapezoidal section to circular cross section is irregular curved surface.This makes the design more difficult.To solve this problem,in this paper,using Pro/ENGINEER to realize modeling and to research its 3D parametric design by means of secondary development tool of Pro/Toolkit.At the same time,adding menu and dialog box to operate its 3D and parametric design in the system.
