Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of Yimiaobao’erjinmi Capsule on growth of colon cancer CT-26. Method:Use the improved method MTT to test Yimiaobao’erjinmi Capsule’s inhibitory rate on the mice colon carcinoma cell line CT-26, compute the IC50. The mice colon carcinoma cell line CT-26 was implanted subcutaneously in BALB/C mice. The mice were randomly divided into four groups: negative control group(saline solution), Xianggujunduotang tablet group (xianggu- junduotang tablet, 0.5mg.20g.d~ -1), higher group(Yimiaobao’erjinmi Capsule powder, 0.2501g.20g.d~ -1), lower group(Yimiaobao’erjinmi Capsule powder, 0.0834g.20g.d-1). All drugs were given to stomach after implanted the carcinoma cell line CT-26 5days. The mice were sacrificed after given drugs 8days, the tumors, the spleen and the thymus were processed for examination. Result: Compared with the negative control group, the growth of the implanted tumor was inhibited by Yimiaobao’erjinmi Capsule powder and the inhibitory rate of higher group was 30.26%, lower group was 25.07%. Conclusion: Yimiaobao’erjinmi Capsule can inhibit tumor growth, but without significant relationship between dose and curative effect.
