Abstract
Objective investigate the relationship between nerve secretion factors and circadian rhythm of blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension. Methods Nerve secretion factors such as plasma norepinephrine(NE), adrenaline(AD), angiotensin Ⅱ(AT), endothelin(ET) and neuro peptide Y(NPY) were examined in 78 patients with essential hypertension. According to the results of ABPM,the patiens were divided into dipper type and non dipper type groups. \{Results\} Compared with dipper groups, NE was significantly higher in non dipper group. AD, AT Ⅱ, ET and NPY had no difference in two groups. Conclusion NE might associated to the circadian rhythm of blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension significantly, but not AD, ATⅡ, ET and NPY .
