Abstract
Objective To study the features of extended-spectrum β-lactamases(ESBLs) produced by Acinetobacter baumannii isolated from clinic in a hospital. Methods ESBLs produced by Acinetobacter baumannii were detected with the disk synergistic method;AmpC β-lactamases were detected by three-dimensional test and ampC gene of Acinetobacter baumannii chrosome DNA was amplified with PCR method. Results All 46 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii isolated from clinic did not produce ESBLs;22 of which were positive in AmpC β-lactamases three dimensional test;39 were positive with PCR amplification. Conclusion Structure gene of ampC exists in Acinetobacter baumannii DNA,the resistance to the third generation cephalosporins is mainly produced by AmpC β-lactamases,and which is not related with ESBLs.
