On Humanistic Spirit of Confucianism and Its Contemporary Value

Humanistic spirit of Confucianism mostly includes strong humanistic spirits,regarding seeking for and gaining Logos as happiness and the doctrine of the mean,diligent in practice.At the same time,Humanistic spirit of Confucianism is characterized by organic naturalism that stresses the harmony of the whole rather than individual separation,irrationalism that stresses intuitive thinking rather than positive analysis,and instrumentalism that stresses practical results rather than theoretic thinking,which has its limitations.We must understand dialectically.However,thanks to the humanistic spirit based on their ultimate value,it can exert significant role in constructing harmonious society.Humanity can be realized by drawing humanistic spirit from Confucianism,knowing morale,looking into public feelings and explaining public opinion based on public harmony and the people's livelihood.The thought of combining nature with human still has its significance today in recognizing the relation between human and nature and in promoting the harmony of human and nature.
