Abstract
In this paper,the Gauss-Seidel iterative method for solving linear systems of the form Ax=b was discussed.Hadjidimos A proposed a preconditioner(I+Cα).Convergence results of the improving the modified Gauss-Seidel method,referred to as the IMGS,for H matrices were provided.In addition,two numerical examples were given for illustrating the results.
