Abstract

Objective:To obtain infants hearing by using multiple auditory steady-state evoked response and evaluate the significance of the application. Methods:The measurements of ASSR and ABR were obtained from 41 infants (82 ears),write down the results of two methods respectively, and a statistical analysis was made between them by χ2test.Results:20 ears had no response to ABR test (24.4%) and 2 ears had no response to ASSR(2.4%). The former was significantly higher than the latter (P0.01).Conclusion:ASSR test is superior to ABR test in frequency-specificity, stimulate- intensity and objectivity.
