Expression of IFN-γ/TL-4 in Children with Acute Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purura

Objective:To study the levels of IFN-γ/IL-4 gene in children with acute idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP),This is the hope to unveiling the role of Th1/Th2 imbalance in the pathogenesis of ITP.Methods:Active group had 30 patients children with acute ITR,It was the inactive group they have picked up,and 20 healthy children Served as normal controls.IFN-γ/IL-4 levels were measured by using EIASA assay,and to study them.Results:ELASA showed IFN-γ levels in children with active ITP(269.33±13.03)pg/ml was markedly higher than that in children with inactive ITP(178.84±7.22)pg/ml and healthy controls(149.26±10.66)pg/ml,and IL-4 levels in children with active ITP (12.34±1.14)pg/ml was markedly lower than that in children with inactive ITP(21.38±1.36)pg/ml and healthy controls(26.41±1.53)pg/ml,significant difference in IFN-γ/IL-4 levels between inactive children and healthy controls was found(P0.01,95%credible interval did not include 1).Conclusion:Th1 polarization is in acute ITP,It is correlated to the high expression of IFN-γ and low expression of IL-4,IFN-γ/ IL-4 might be involved in the pathogenesis of children with acute ITP.
