Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Auxiliary Nutrition on Nutritional Status and Immune Function in Postoperative Patients with Gastric Cancer

Abstract
Objective:To study the effect of traditional Chinese medicine auxiliary nutrition on nutritional status and immune function in postoperative patients with gastric cancer.Methods:60 cases of gastric radical mastectomy who treated in our hospital from August 2010 to August 2012 were selected and divided into control group and observation group.The enteral nutrition was used in both groups,and the traditional Chinese medicine was used in the observation group.The situation and nutritional status indicators and immune function indicators were observed after operation.Results:Postoperative gastric cancer,intestinal recovery time,exhaust time,short time of observation group were shorter than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).The changes of nutritional indicators in the two groups were compared.The weight,triceps skinfold thickness,upper arm circumference difference of two groups were not statistically significant(P0.05).After surgery,it was statistically significant(P0.05).The immune feature comparison of the two groups was not statistically significant(P0.05);but the CD3,CD4,CD8,CD4+/CD8 of observation group were slightly increased after operation(P0.05),those of control group were decreased slightly(P0.05).Conclusion:TCM nutritional adjuvant therapy will help improve the nutritional status and immune function of patients with gastric cancer after pointing out the direction for the clinical use of drugs,medication,and it is worthy of promotion.
