Abstract
High saving rate and low consumption growth rate play important roles in supporting the rapid economic growth in the early days after reform. But with the improvement of economic development,the restriction function of the high saving rate and low consumption growth rate is emerging gradually. From the point of residents' income and expenditure level,this paper inspects the evolution of China's residents' consumption level and consumption structure,and puts forward corresponding solutions in view of the problems existed in China's consumption.
