Thoughts on drug withdrawal of inpatients in our hospital

Abstract

Objective To investigate the situation of drug withdrawal of inpatients in our hospital,and propose countermeasures.Methods 2 717 papers of drug withdrawal in November and December in 2009 were selected from all the wards in our hospital,and the characteristics of drug withdrawal were analyzed.Results Most of drug withdrawal existed in surgery and oncology section.Conclusion We should take effective measures to reduce unreasonable drug withdrawal,ensure drug safety in patients,use hospital human resources effectively.
