Abstract

Objective To explore the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic diaphragm aticrupture and diaphragmatic hernia. Methods The clinical data of 56 cases treated for traumatic diaphragmatic rupture and diaphragmatic hernia were retrospectively analyzed. Results Among these 56 cases, 29 resulted from penetrating in juries and 27 due to closed injuries. The diagnosis was established preoperatively in 27 cases(53.5%).29 cases diagnosed by intraoperative exploration. 52 patients were cured, 4 patients were died. Conclusion The diagnosis of traumatic diaphragmatic rupture is one of the serious treatment in thoracic surgery, It has High incidence of shock and death.So early diagnosis and correct treatment is very important.
