An Analysis of the Awakening of Edana's Feminist Consciousness

Abstract

The Awakening by Kate Chopin tells the heroine Edna's pursuit of self-independence and freedom,her courage to go out the family,and her growth from a traditional family of woman to a new woman with strong feminist consciousness.This paper tries to analyze the construction of women's awareness of Edna from the perspective of feminist,and fully expresses Edna's self-consciousness awakening.
