Abstract
A macroscopical seismic intensity survey for 2002 Haozhuang,Taiyuan of Shanxi, earthquake of M L5 0 was made. The conclusion is that the intensity in the macroscopic epicenter area of the earthquake is grade V,with a elliptic shape, which macro axis is 53 km long ,along NNW, and minor axis is 34 km long along NEE,and the area is 5 660 km 2. Based on a analysis of seismotectonic environment of earthquake occurring,it is thought that epicenter of this earthquake is located at the area where 3 faults of EW,SN and NNW directions are intercrossed, and among them, the Dongshan mountain foot fault along NNW direction is the triggering seismic fault.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
