Abstract
China is a country with great civilization succeeded from the ancient time. Its legal system has a long history that forms the Chinese legal system with its particular characteristics. It has great influence in the world. But the findings of the legal literature in ancient times, one of important parts in Chinese civilization, are usually limited to one part or another. The thesis tries to supply the gap, hoping to offer a few commonplace remarks about systematic studies of Chinese ancient legal literature by way of introduction so that others may come up with valuable opinions.
