In the past 30 years(1978-2008),the researches into the history of Chinese legal theories have developed from their infancy into their prosperous stage.They aroused many theoretical discussions and controversies in many fields and many fruitful achievements have been made in the process in terms of academic discipline construction,textbook reform,academic study,professional training,talents education in the history of Chinese legal theories.It is necessary to review the process of the past 30 years so as to lay a solid foundation for the future in-depth studies.
