Abstract
The navigation system is an important part of the Shuhe hydropower project on the Hanjiang River.Through layout comparison,the alternative of vertical ship lift system is adopted for the navigation structure.This paper presents general layout of vertical ship lift,structure design,main equipment of ship lift,electric drive and control,dam-passing method,and freight volume.
