Abstract
According to the characteristics of the digital meter which is widely used in the power supply system, the paper analyzes the shortcomings of the current pulse meter method for watt-hour meter calibration and proposes a power meter algorithm which based on quasi-synchronous sampling algorithm. It describes the working principle of the new method and realization process. It is described that how to calibrate the watt-hour meter using the calibration parameters which comes from calculated measurement error in the table by the new method and finally the proposed algorithm is verified.Compared with the pulse method which is current commonly used, the new method is useful to calibrate the watt-hour meter which will be more efficiency, lower cost and energy consumption.
