Abstract
The paper analyzes the shortcomings of the current master meter method for watt-hour meter calibration.Introducing a new calibration method——sample and calculate separation method,it describes the working principle and implementation process of the new method, also introduces that, with the new method, how to calculate the metering error of a calibrated meter using the sampled field parameters, and indicates the technical features and advantages of the new method, when compared with the master meter method.
