Abstract
Genetic similarity of 48 varieties(lines) in japonica rice was analyzed by 114 alleles detected from 47 pairs of SSR primers.17 out of 47 pairs of polymorphic SSR primers were selected for their high polymorphism to construct the fingerprinting maps of the 48 varieries in japonica rice. The results showed that all the 48 varieties could be distinguished from each other by the fingerprint map constituted by 17 pairs of SSR primers. The genetic similarity coefficients of the 48 varieties ranged from 0.65 to 0.98.All the varieties were classified into three groups at the level of genetic similarity coefficient of 0.69 according to cluster analysis by an un-weighted pair-group average method with arithmetic mean. Most of the varieties were classified into the third group.
