Abstract

Soil consolidation has great influence on engineering mechanic properties of soil.Triaxial tests are performed on remolded soil of different consolidation degrees. The results show that the shear strength grows with the increase of consolidation degrees in remodeled soft soil. The internal cohesion of the shear strength parameters is nearly a constant value;the angle of internal friction increases with the consolidation degrees but it is not a simple linear increase.Duncan Chang model is used to analyze the experimental date, and the fitting effect becomes worse with the increase of confining pressure and consolidation degree.
