Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the curative effect of Ulinastatin(UTI) on acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning(AOPP).Methods:66 patients from severe AOPP were randomly divided into ulinastatin intervention group(UTI group) and non-ulinastatin intervention group(non-UTI group),with 33 patients in each group. The changes of TNF-α and ICAM-1 levels in the serum of the patients before and after the acute treatment were determined. Results:There were of staticstical significance in TNF-α and ICAM-1 levels before and after the treatment in the UTI group(P0.01),while there was no difference in the non-UTI group(P0.05).There existed significant differences in TNF-α and ICAM-1 levels between the two groups after the treatment(P0.01).Conclusions:Ulinastatin may remarkably inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokinases, thus it can prevent the injury of human body by inflammatory response. In short,Ulinastatin has immune protective effect on AOPP patients.
