The nursing experience for endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS)

Abstract

Objective To sum up the nursing experience of ESS.Method 83 patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps underwent ESS treatment.They are given systemic nursing including physiological nursing,Preoperative instruction,Postoperative nasal cavity nursing and instruction after discharge.Results We get the satisfactory results of 68 cases rehabilitations and 15 cases alleviation.Conclusion Systemic preoperative and postoperative nursing is as important as operation in improving cure rate.
