Anesthesia with lornoxicam combined with propofol and fentanyl for induced abortion

Objective To evaluate the anesthetic effect of lornoxicam combined with propofol and fentanyl in induced abortion.Methods Sixty pregant women were randomly allocated to two groups.The patients in control group were given propofl 1.5mg/kg plus fentany 1μg/kg and those in study group lornoxicam 8mg plus propofol 1.5mg/kg plus fentanyl 0.75μg/kg.The MAP,HR,SpO_2,the dose of propofol and adverse effects were recorded.Postoperative pain of the lower adbomen was evaluated by visual analogue scale(VAS).Results SpO_2 and MAP were significantly lower at 2min after induction than the baseline.SpO_2 and MAP were lower in control group than those in study group.The dose of propofol was less and VAS score was lower in study group than those in control group (P0.05). Conclusion Lornoxicam conbined with propofol and fentanyl can reduce the dose of propofol,lessen the inhibition of respiratory and circulation function and relieve postoperative pain.
