Application of mycobacteria quick colouring liquid medium and quick allochroic drug-sensitive test

Abstract

Objective:Using quick colouring liquid medium to do bacillus tuberculosis culture and susceptibility test ,to establish a rapid, sensitve, specific and low-cost method of rapid culture and drug-sensitive test for basic level lab. Methods:① Sputum samples of 200 tuberculosis-like patients were inoculated to quick coloring liquid medium and L-J medium respectively after microscope inspection by thick smearing Acid-Fast stain . ②35 strains of tuberculosis were applied by method of quick,liquid culture and concentration method of L-J,65 strains were applied by method of quick,liquid culture and proportion method of L-J to detect their susceptibility of SM, INH, RFP and EB.Results: For postive rate and contamination rate,there was no marked difference between quick colouring liquid medium and L-J medium (P0.05),but there was a marked difference in the two group of data on average growth time(P0.05);The results of susceptibility test by method of quick,liquid culture and concentration method of L-J show that coincidence is 60%, The results of quick,liquid culture and proportion method show that coincidence is 56.9%. Average growth time of drug-sensitive test is significantly shorten than routine test.Conclusion:It can improve the level of rapid inspection to use mycobacteria quick colouring liquid medium to do mycobacteria culture and drug-sensitive test, and has local clinical application and generalizing value.
